Do I own my website after it’s built?
Absolutely. Once your website is launched and paid for, you’ll own an exclusive and perpetual license for your website, the graphics and all components together as a complete build. You can download and keep your website offline if you prefer. Your website is like any other business asset. It’s your hardest working salesperson that will never quit supporting your business and getting leads or customers.
What platform will my website be on?
We use the open source and well documented version of WordPress. WordPress is an open source content management software and currently powers around 28% of all websites on the Internet. The project is contributed to by tens of thousands of developers all over the world and is growing from strength to strength. WordPress allows us to develop flexible and customizable websites to modern standards and observes web development best practices. Furthermore, the community of web developers that use WordPress reaches far and wide and allows us to tap into this collective intelligence and bring that wealth of experience to your project.
Where is the website hosted?
Iconic Web HQ’s dedicated client server racks are found in two different datacenters in the US. We are located in the top rated Zayo and Carrier-1 data centers located in Dallas, Texas, USA. Who do I call if something goes wrong with the website or I can’t figure something out?
With all of our Iconic Web HQ success plans, we will be your first point of call should something go wrong with your website. We’ll do all the debugging and work necessary to get things working exactly the way they should ASAP. We’re here for you for all future changes to your website big and small including little text or photo changes or brand new features such as an online store you want to add down the road. As requested, we’ll provide training and video tutorials to assist you and answer questions as you have them.
What happens after the website is launched?
Once your website is successfully launched, we’ll go from design & development to pure success focused and maintenance/support mode. We’ll monitor your business online 24/7/365 and get alerted within minutes if something goes down. Then, you’re covered for however long it takes, minutes or hours or longer, to get everything back up and running the way it was.
What if I'm ever unsatisfied with your service?
If at any time we provide unsatisfactory service to you, we are fair and understanding if you decide to work with another web developer. We're human just as much as everyone else, and we recognize minor mistakes can happen, so we'll always do whatever it takes to make things right, 100% of the time.
How long will it take to appear at the top of Google?
The time it takes for your website to appear on page 1 of Google depends on a number of factors. It depends on the search phrases people are using to find your website and the number of other websites that are also available for those search phrases. Nobody can truly say how long it will take for your website to appear at the top of search engine results pages (including people who actually work for Google), however, there are a number of factors that can improve your chances. Building your website on WordPress is a good start as WordPress has some great Search Engine Optimization fundamentals built-in. Creating unique and interesting content on a regular basis for your website is also critical to increase your visibility amongst search engines. Launching your website and then forgetting about it is a surefire way to get lost amongst the noise.

What happens if I want to add some features to the website while you’re building it?
We love to be flexible and it’s more common than you think to change your mind or want new or different features as we’re underway. Planning is the biggest part of our process, so we’ll iron out any new and additional features before we start design & development. This will ensure everything we need on the new site will be planned for before the site is built and new features or content is accommodated for perfectly.
Do you offer financing?
Yes! We work with a few financing partners to provide low interest and sometimes interest-free monthly payments for our clients. For projects under $3,000, our recommended financing partner is PayPal Credit as they provide no interest for 6 months.
